How J4C handles your data, keys, and on-chain activity.

Last updated April 2026

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account: email address, name, and role (employer or freelancer). We also generate and securely store an encrypted wallet on your behalf.

We do not collect or store payment card information. All payments are processed on-chain via smart contracts.

2. How we use your information

Your information is used to: provide and maintain the platform, match freelancers with job opportunities, process escrow transactions, and communicate important account updates.

3. Wallet security

Your in-app wallet private key is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage. Keys are only decrypted at the moment of transaction signing on our servers. We never expose your private key to the browser.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your profile data (name, bio, skills) is visible to other users on the platform. Wallet addresses are visible to counterparties in escrow transactions.

5. On-chain data

Transactions executed through J4C are recorded on public blockchains. On-chain data is immutable and publicly accessible. This includes escrow deposits, releases, and dispute actions.

On-chain data is permanent and public. Please only share addresses you control.
